He also seems to sleep around out of the club as well!! How is this in anyway fair? The H moved on and experienced so much stuff - like love, marriage - and was a manho who admitted he hadn't thought of h in last 12 yrs bcos he had deliberately pushed her from his mind - he didn't want to feel guilty.

How about going after the h and searching for her, he just left her to live on the streets??!! Well, I want no part of this guys' 'love' and h is an idiot if she lets him in her life again!! The h seemed as if she never really moved on View all 8 comments.

Aug 20, Erin rated it it was amazing Shelves: I am so in love with this series!! With an incredible cast of characters that put the sex back in sexy, this story was by far the raciest yet and won me over at "Jace"!! He had this mysterious bad-boy quality to him that was just to die for, and I knew his story I am so in love with this series!! He had this mysterious bad-boy quality to him that was just to die for, and I knew his story would be EPIC!! I never should have doubted Loren, though, because honestly every moment of this book from start to finish was riddled with intense chemistry, heart-pounding sexiness, and a storyline that hooked me from the very start.

Evan's story of a broken childhood and depression was so sad, and to hear what she went through after she ran away from the boy who broke her heart just makes you hope so badly that she can finally be happy. Not to say that I agreed with her choices, because honestly I wanted to slap her at times for staying with her fiance, but she was doing what she thought was right for a friend and her own future.

I just loved the chemistry between her and Jace, he was so alpha-male possessive of her at the Ranch and it was HOT!! I'm definitely more into a one-on-one relationship, so when Andre's interest became obvious I immediately started having "that's Jace's girl!! But honestly, the three of them together was incredible and it didn't take me long to start cheering both of them on!! There were so many smoking-hot steamy scenes between Jace and Evan, Evan and Andre, all 3 of them, and even a very sensual scene with Andre and Jace, and my heart hardly had a moment to recover from it's racing!!

The plot for this installment was just as addicting as the spicy scenes because I loved the characters so much. Jace's struggles with his shop and his overbearing jerk of a father, his past with Evan, and the aftermath of their one moment of passion all wrapped up into suspense at every turn. Melt Into You wraps up with a beautiful moment, and I was so happy that things ended happily!

I don't know how their lives will play out in the future, but as long as they're together it'd be perfect! View all 3 comments. There were glimmers of something in the beginning, but it fell into an utterly rote place. View all 7 comments. I had never heard of these books before this one came available for review.

I just saw the quote on the front cover by Lorelei James and knew this book had to be good. Sometimes I wish I could just say in a review: When you put all these layers together you get a plot driven, erotic, page turner that is guaranteed to please. Evan and Jace have a past. They were both young and neither of them were really given a chance to have any type of relationship.

There is a lot of back story and reasons behind this, but I feel it takes away from the story to reveal too much in the review. Years later they find each other and realize that those old feelings have not disappeared. This book is not just about Evan and Jace. This is where the layers of the story come into play. All these characters play into the plot line. To say this book is intense and full of drama is putting it lightly. Their marriage is to be strictly for show. He is a celebrity Dr. Evan owes Daniel for saving her when she was younger and has promised to help him out any way she can.

Even if it means giving up her own happiness. He sees this membership as a way for Evan to enjoy some sexual experiences that he is just not able to give her. What neither of them planned on was for her old flame, Jace being the one to give her those experiences. To go one step further, where there is Jace, there is Andre. I have read a lot of BDSM themed books and this is absolutely one of my favorites as far as the way the men introduce her to the lifestyle.

The dialog was realistic and they were very strict and firm with her, but not in a pushy humiliating way. I loved the way that Jace and Andre were able to work through their emotions and not have any jealousy driven content between them. They have a lot of history together and are so good for each other I really appreciated the way their story was written. Evan has been through so much as a child and a teenager and now as an adult she has to learn to overcome her past.

We get to watch her fight and struggle to discover who she really is. And we get to experience the heartbreaking, emotional journey that she goes on while she learns to give her body, soul, heart, and trust to not only one person but two. It really gave me everything that I want in a romance. The sex scenes are sizzling hot. The BDSM scenes are accurate and descriptive. The plot line is like a roller coaster ride.

That is exactly what you get with this book. There are no problems with reading this as a standalone. But really, when you find an author this talented, why would you want to? I have already grabbed the first and plan to start it immediately. Jul 16, Michaela rated it it was ok. This is my first review so go easy on me! Unfortunately, I was let down. Evan was boring and predictable. Jace didn't figure out that he was into Andre until the end. I didn't buy any Contains Spoilers!! I didn't buy any of it. I thought the story would have settled much easier on me had Jace become a one person man..

Yet he forced himself to get over those feelings because all Evan was looking for was an escape for a couple months? Then suddenly, despite his sometimes possessive tendencies, he decides he's okay with sharing the one woman he has always felt a deep connection toward? She even had a daughter with him! I just didn't feel this was a realistic telling of what happened between Evan and Jace.

Maybe if the feelings Jace had for Andre were explored earlier in the book.. As for Andre, I liked him. I felt he was the only honest, realistic, and believable character in this book. He knew what he wanted and eventually found the courage to go for it. He stayed true to himself the entire book. Dec 05, Nancy rated it it was amazing. I absolutely adored this book, It was naughty, fun, romantic and heart achingly beautiful.

The characters are well developed instead of the usual 2D cardboard cutouts. I fell in love with them all. The story was sweet edged with bite of sadness and shot through with enough passion to set the pages on fire. I couldn't put it down, definately one of my favourites in the erotic genre and an author to watch. Jun 12, Jess rated it really liked it Shelves: The prologue grabbed me.

Fast forward twelve years and Evan is pretending to be engaged to her gay best friend. Little does she know that members of The Ranch include Jace and his best friend Andre.

Jace and Andre are, in word, delicious. He and Andre claim her and she starts to realize that her solo life is so very lacking and Jace and Andre make her feel alive. Something about the way he [Andre] said bella - bey-yah - made her all fluttery inside. Like her female genes were wired to be a sucker for the way that spice-paced accent rolled off his tongue. Made her want to find out if those lips tasted as good as his words.

She reached over and grabbed one of the sandwiches to give her shaky hands something to do. Her normally voracious appetite had been non-existent all day, but after round one with Jace, she was already feeling a little weak. She bit into the sandwich right as Andre peeled off his T-shirt. She nearly choked on the first bite. The men are very dominant and Evan falls easily into the role as their submissive.

The emotion for me came into play largely through Andre. I enjoyed how their own relationship grew, and Evan does play a role in that, but the most growth for them happens just between the two of them and mostly off page. Evan was a little frustrating in how completely loyal she was to Daniel and helping him out without any care to what she wanted in life.

Series by cover

She comes around, but it was a bit of struggle and kept me from fully loving her as a character. She also keeps a very big secret from Jace and it kept the angst factor high, but by the time the secret comes out, she had been with the men for a long enough that she should have come clean sooner. Overall, I thought the emotion and the relationship between all three people was well done. I would have liked an epilogue, it feels like it ends a little abruptly, I just ultimately wanted more from all three of them at end, and I hope they show up in future books.

At a hotel for one of Dr. Getting stung by a jellyfish, a man is on the beach and drags her out. By chance, Jace is at this hotel too, and just happens to be sitting out on the beach. Stunned to reunite after all these years, Evan learns that Jace is in town to try to get Dr. Dan to endorse his adult toy store he owns. They go their separate ways until Dr Dan buys Evan a membership to an exclusive BDSM club so she can have some fun having sex which she never has until their big move to LA.

Melt into You

Guess who is a Dom in that club? And we quickly learn, Jace has a best friend Andre that always participates in their bdsm scenes. We also learn Andre is more of a bisexual, and is very close with Jace. It takes a lot to convince me that three people are going to end up happy together. Jace still has deep feelings for Evan, so when he starts a bdsm scene with her, while he loves to be a Dom, he also starts to feel very protective over her. I think this is done well. He falls hard and fast, and even becomes very jealous when Andre spends time alone with her.

It feels more like, Jace and Evan are truly in love, and Andre and Jace are best friends. Andre and Evan are still exploring each other. Also in this story, Jace has an ex-wife who he is not on good terms with. I really could have just not had her in this story. This review was posted at Under the Covers I've said this before and I'll say it again Roni Loren's books are masterful, story-driven, sensual and very erotic.

Please judge her books by the cover and even by the author quotes on the outside. These books are sizzling, steamy hot!! We have a few messed up and complicated individuals. He has never been able to do what his father expected of him, his This review was posted at Under the Covers I've said this before and I'll say it again He has never been able to do what his father expected of him, his marriage ended in a bad divorce and he now may be the embarrassment of his family because he owns a sex shop.

Well that and he goes to a sex club and continuously shares women with his best friend Andre. There's only been one woman in his past that could've made him really want forever. His family had taken her in as a foster child when she was only Of course they were both attracted to each other even though he was older, and they were best friends until things got out of hand and she ran away.

But things are not always what they seem. Starting with her engagement and with the real reason why she's at the club, and then later on with what she thought she wanted to experience.

Every character has a sad and difficult past, things they have to get through and out on the table. Loren did an amazing job at giving us a complete picture into their lives and making us connect with everyone! And the most beautiful part is that by the end of this book I was totally sold on every aspect of this permanent threesome. Now give me Grant's story, I'm ready! Jul 03, Stephanie Lawton rated it it was amazing.

I seriously need to create an alter ego so I can do a thorough review of this book. Until then, I'll just say that although some of the material was not exactly up my alley oh, that's such a bad, Freudian pun Roni Loren has an amazing talent for presenting things so deftly and diplomatically that readers can't help but get drawn in. Loren's hit another one out of the park and I look forward to the next I seriously need to create an alter ego so I can do a thorough review of this book. Feb 24, Dark Faerie Tales rated it really liked it Shelves: Steamy, hot and emotional novel featuring a couple with a dark past. Most of the time temptation climbs into your lap and straddles you, demands you deal with it immediately. Melt Into You is the second novel in the Loving on the Edge series. This series features couples who meet up at The Ranch, a place for people to explore their inner and outer sexuality without the fear of being found out.

This novel is so much more than the erotic scenes. The characters undergo a variety of emtions along with a dark past. This past really shapes the heroine of the story into the woman she is today. After a year, it is no surprise that Jace and Evan grew close — a little too close.

Then one day, Evan disappears. They never forgot about each other but eventually life moves on. After all, who would listen to a gay relationship expert? Meanwhile, Evan is really sexually repressed. They realize it so they offer her a chance to express herself sexually before the wedding with a membership to The Ranch. At The Ranch, Jace is flabbergasted to see Evan there.

Jace immediately goes into Alpha mode wanting Evan for himself, the only problem is, Jace is a part of a team. He can see the sadness inside of her and he vows to win her over. Both Jace and Andre have fallen in love with her. They know they have a short window until her wedding to get her to change her mind about getting married. Deep, dark passions and secrets are revealed about each of the major characters. Andre was still a bit of a secret but I really enjoyed his charming character.

Evan had her secrets and problems when she was a kid but instead of letting it take her life, she decided to live and make herself as happy as she could, while making the people who mattered to her happier. Jace is the rich kid whose dad hates him, so he constantly does whatever he can to piss off his father, which includes his owning the adult entertainment store. Melt Into You was a definite emotional sizzler. I will definitely be picking up the rest of this series.

Do what you need to do and lock up. For you or for Jace. She looked down, her eyes stinging. Trust us with the real you. Not some edited version. Do you think you can do that? But this scares the shit out of me. Jul 02, Among The Muses rated it it was amazing Shelves: This hot little tamale is one of those titles that will forever be found on my keeper shelf! I honestly could not put this book down until the end, regardless of the lack of sleep to do so!! Wow, was this a great read!! The premise of heroine Evan Kennedy being eng This hot little tamale is one of those titles that will forever be found on my keeper shelf!

The premise of heroine Evan Kennedy being engaged to a gay man immediately caught my attention with the unique set-up. When Evan needs to fulfill her own sexual needs, she takes her fiance's gift of attending The Ranch, an exclusive and private "fantasy" club that caters to almost anyone's needs. Much to Evan's utter surprise, she sees the one man who captured her heart nearly twelve years ago, Jace Austin.

Only this time, she finds that he and his friend Andre are completely inseparable — in everything. The dynamics of the relationship between Evan, Jace, and Andre was fantastic!! The chemistry and heat leaped from the pages as what started as a weekend, no-strings-attached, rendezvous turns into something so much more. It knocks all three from the precarious positions of their original agreements into the danger zone of permanent love. Nearly the entire story is told from the POV's of Evan and Jace, and I would have loved to have Andre's thrown in as well to get a better understanding of his feelings within the relationship.

However, with that being said, I understand why the author kept the majority of the focus on Evan and Jace, for they are the ones with the heavy backstories and previous relationship. The plot is wrapped in a nice blanket of emotion as backstories are revealed and the dynamics of a three-way relationship are discovered and accepted. I also have to state the backstories and present circumstances of the characters all added to and help to create a very unique and heartfelt story.

I loved the whole idea of where the characters each 'came from' and where they were in the present day of the plot line. And while this story is the second in the Loving on the Edge series, it can be read as a stand alone. Previous book characters only make cameo appearances. The characters were fabulously written, and the sex scenes Nov 25, Lindy rated it it was amazing. Jace was powerfully attracted to her, and tried unsuccessfully to resist his feelings.

It ended up being a mistake for both of them and she ran away and basically disappeared. Years later, Evan is engaged to a gay celebrity when Jace saves her from nearly drowning. When recognition finally dawns on both of them, the old feelings of guilt and hurt come rushing back to them.

Coincidentally, when she visits The Ranch for the first time, Jace and his best friend Andre are there, and Jace is hoping to work off the surge of lust he's had since running into Evan. His dominant side is news to her; when they were younger he kept everything lighthearted. She's reluctant to choose him as her partner for the weekend, but he promises to keep the past in the past and keep things strictly sexual. When Jace tells her that no fantasy is off limits at The Ranch, she reveals her hidden desire to submit to two Doms.

It feels so perfect to be with them, but it can only last for the weekend and then she'll go back to her life with Daniel. Not because it fulfills her needs, but because she made a promise. This is one of the best and most delectable books I've read in quite a while. If you want a scorching-hot, one-handed read that's guaranteed to raise your body temperature so high that your bones will melt, this is it.

Melt Into You is a perfect mix of hot sex and genuine emotions. I love this series and I'm anxiously awaiting the next book from Roni Loren. Erotic contemporary romance fans should put this one on their must-read list. Mar 25, starsaga rated it liked it Shelves: I think if i did not read the description of the book, I could have read it like a sweet romance from Christie Ridgway or Rachel Gibson.

This book is nothing like Shayla Black books. So the doms are hardly alpha or dominating, they have too much self-doubt and kept dropping the D role all the time. No wonder the submissive was not hot at all, very bland book, I don't think that the book reflects at all what the blurb and other reviews seem to imply, that it is a hot book of erotica about two doms. No wonder the submissive was also not really keen on her role other than getting wet panties whenever she said Sir. The whole premise of the conflict which was that somehow this woman owed the rest of her life to marry a gay man who did not want to come out to the public was also underwhelming.

Then there was the whole history that the heroine had with Jace, which could have been so much more strongly written but it was cast aside with a few tears and a few apologies, what? The last issue I have with this book was that the times when the three were in the menage or the times when Jace and Andre are together are the times that were completely missing from this so-called erotica book and we get the one month later, a few weeks later, thing that many lazy writers seem to do.

Don't read this book. Enter the name of the series to add the book to it. Works can belong to more than one series. In some cases, as with Chronicles of Narnia , disagreements about order necessitate the creation of more than one series. If the series has an order, add a number or other descriptor in parenthesis after the series title eg.

By default, it sorts by the number, or alphabetically if there is no number. If you want to force a particular order, use the character to divide the number and the descriptor. So, " 0 prequel " sorts by 0 under the label "prequel. Series was designed to cover groups of books generally understood as such see Wikipedia: Like many concepts in the book world, "series" is a somewhat fluid and contested notion.

A good rule of thumb is that series have a conventional name and are intentional creations , on the part of the author or publisher. For now, avoid forcing the issue with mere "lists" of works possessing an arbitrary shared characteristic, such as relating to a particular place. Avoid series that cross authors, unless the authors were or became aware of the series identification eg.

Also avoid publisher series, unless the publisher has a true monopoly over the "works" in question. So, the Dummies guides are a series of works. But the Loeb Classical Library is a series of editions, not of works. Home Groups Talk Zeitgeist.
